Chaucer's Global Energy Practice appoints new Business Development Management Team

APPOINTMENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MaNAGEMENT TEAM
The Chaucer Global Energy Practice is pleased to announce the appointment of a Business Development Management Team to provide expert technical underwriting and risk management support to its underwriting team.
The seven-strong team brings together a wealth of energy and nuclear insurance knowledge and expertise, including business analysis, modelling, wordings and policy administration. The Team will play a key role in the development of Chaucer's Global Energy Practice, established in November 2010 as part of the Company's Foundation Flex Flagship corporate strategy. The Practice incorporates Chaucer's existing energy and engineering expertise together with Nuclear Syndicate 1176, to provide a fully integrated Energy underwriting capability for broker and client requirements.
Gary March, newly appointed Divisional Underwriting Manager, will lead the Team. Gary is well-respected in the Lloyd's market, with over 25 years of underwriting and broking experience, having held positions at The Travelers Companies, Inc. and JLT Group.
Chris White, Head of Chaucer Syndicate 1084's Global Energy Practice commented:
